A unidirectional double, diverging leaf and stylised rose design forms a semi-lattice on the creamy sand field, detailed in reds and greens, in an allover textile layout. Green border of spiky red palmettes and ragged, barbed lenticulate double leaf border. Well-developed corners turns on m,ain and secondary, outer border. Faintly European look. Well woven, town piece from the renowned Kurdish Bidjar district in western Persia. Upright, compact pile, solid handle, good condition.
